1928 Great Britain Medal commemorating the 200th birthday of Joseph S. Fry, born at Sutton Benger in Wiltshire, a British doctor and businessman. He founded a cocoa and choclate company J. S. Fry & sons. which was later taken over by Cadbury.
This medallion was designed by Harold James Youngman and struck by the Royal Mint. The mintage of 6,457 was given to employees and is 51mm in diameter.
